Managerial Role: Branch Manager
The Branch Manager’s role encompasses planning, organizing, leading, and overseeing the banking activities of a branch office. Ensuring strict compliance with the Bank’s operating procedures, rules, regulatory directives, and country laws is a primary responsibility. The Branch Manager will also coordinate efforts in sales and business development, playing a vital role in driving customer service initiatives for branch operational excellence. In addition, preparing and submitting the annual budget, work plan, and activity and progress reports are integral to this position. Actively participating in community activities and fostering relationships with the business community to promote the Bank’s services are key aspects of this role.
Requirements
Academic Qualification:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Banking & Finance, Accounting, Management, Economics, Business Administration, or related fields.
Professional Experience:
- Minimum of seven (7) years of banking experience, with at least one (1) year in a role equivalent to Customer Services Manager.
Competencies and Skills:
- Strong team building and analytical skills
- Ability to thrive under pressure
- Proficiency in modern management techniques
- Exceptional organizational skills
- Effective distribution of sales targets and management of achievements
- Familiarity with commercial business law, sector rules, and regulations
- Results-oriented with a customer-focused approach
- Leadership and human resources management proficiency
