Essential Functions:
Job Position: Manager, Product Development
Purpose of the Job: To develop and implement new product development initiatives and follow- up the life cycle of existing products for possible modification through constantly assessing and analyzing the changing needs of customers, the dynamic business and competition situation in the environment
Generic Functions:
- Develop, review, and implement policies & procedures, plan /budget of the division
- Embody the bank’s good culture, and corporate image to the public
- Demonstrate the Bank’s code of conduct, ascertain that subordinates abide by the same, and manage disciplinary concerns
- Cultivate a working environment that promotes teamwork, collaboration, and transparency among staff
- Provide services as per the service level agreement, follow- up & monitor subordinates to do the same
- Handle other related generic activities as deemed necessary
Specific Functions:
- Review the analysis of consumer trends, competitor positions, and market conditions
- Review new product ideas to determine feasibility and potential market demand
- Lead and coordinate studies on new product development and modification of existing products to meet customer expectation
- Initiate and participate in workshops and briefings on new and modified products and services in collaboration with other work units
- Conduct market and need assessment research to identify potential areas for the development of new financial products, and revisit existing products
- Handle other related duties as may be required
Job Requirement:
Qualification: MA/MBA/BA in Business Management, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Finance and Economics or any other related field
Experience: Seven/Nine 7/9 years of experience in relevant fields preferably in banking of which Two/2 years in a senior officer position in a relevant banking operation
