About You
Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Some positions may accept equivalent work experience in place of a degree.
- Relevant Certifications can sometimes substitute for a degree.
Professional Certifications (Highly Valued):
- CompTIA Network+: Basic certification covering essential networking concepts.
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA): Focuses on networking fundamentals, routing and switching, and is widely recognized.
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP): If the position involves security, CISSP certification is beneficial.
- Other Vendor Certifications: Depending on the job, certifications from Juniper, AWS, or other vendors may be required.
Technical Skills and Experience:
- Networking Protocols: Proficiency in TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, OSPF, etc.
- Experience with Network Hardware: Routers, switches, firewalls, and other infrastructure devices.
- Network Security: Firewall management, VPN setup, security protocols, and intrusion detection.

Experience:
