Branch Manager I

About the Job

The Branch Manager will plan, organize, lead, and control the banking activities of the branch office. The key responsibilities include:

• Ensuring adherence to operating procedures, rules, codes of practice of the Bank, regulatory directives, and country laws by all staff.
• Coordinating the sales and business development efforts of the branch.
• Leading customer service initiatives and guiding branch operational excellence.
• Preparing and submitting the annual budget, work plan, and activity and progress reports.
• Participating in various community activities and maintaining close contact with the business community to promote the services offered by the Bank.

About You

• Required Qualification:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Banking & Finance, Accounting, Management, Economics, Business Administration, or other related fields.
• Required Experience:
  • Minimum of seven (7) years of professional experience in a bank, including one (1) year as a Customer Services Manager or equivalent role.
• Key Competencies and Skills:
  • Excellent team-building and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Sufficient knowledge of modern management techniques.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to distribute sales targets and production goals to staff and manage achievement.
  • Knowledge of commercial business law, sector rules, and regulations.
  • Results-driven and customer-focused.
  • Strong leadership and human resources management skills.
