Gift Trading PLC, a private company specializing in import, export, wholesale distribution, and commission agency—primarily in building materials—is expanding into Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG). The company seeks a competent and dynamic Business Development Manager.
Qualifications and Experience
- Education: MA/MSc/BA/BSc in Marketing, Economics, Business Management, or related fields (MBA preferred).
- Experience: 6-8 years in business development or sales, preferably in FMCG, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement business growth strategies in alignment with company objectives.
- Conduct market research to identify growth opportunities and gather competitive insights.
- Build and maintain relationships with key clients and industry partners.
- Lead a high-performing team focused on market expansion.
- Plan, create, and execute growth strategies, focusing on market trends and new business prospects.
- Collaborate with sales teams to execute effective campaigns.
- Manage budgets and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Build connections with suppliers and retailers, maintaining a strong industry network.
Skills Required
- Strong analytical, leadership, and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency with CRM tools and a deep understanding of market dynamics.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
