Job Summary

Horra Corporate Group is seeking an experienced and visionary Corporate CEO to lead and manage its diverse portfolio of more than eight product lines. The successful candidate will work closely with the company’s founder to steer the corporate group towards achieving its strategic goals.

Job Description

• Business Environment Analysis: Lead internal and external business analysis to understand trends, challenges, and opportunities.
• Strategy Development: Lead and coordinate the development of strategic plans to ensure alignment with company objectives.
• Performance Monitoring: Oversee business performance, identify areas for improvement, and leverage business intelligence to drive success.
• Communication & Goal Setting: Facilitate communication of company goals to all operating units, tracking their performance and progress.
• Annual Planning: Lead the development of annual plans and budgets, ensuring alignment with the company’s overall strategy.
• Performance Management: Identify performance gaps, propose changes, and ensure implementation of strategic decisions and initiatives.
• Strategic Initiative Management: Drive the evaluation and prioritization of strategic initiatives, ensuring the effective translation of business strategies into actionable plans.
• Oversight of Company Programs: Maintain oversight of all company programs, effectively managing resources and tracking progress towards strategic goals.
• Business Intelligence: Design and enhance business intelligence capabilities, enabling all functional units to extract value from data insights.
• Benefit & Impact Review: Conduct regular reviews to assess the benefits and impact of implemented initiatives on the overall business strategy.
• Investment Planning: Drive investment planning, vision-setting, and budget management.
• Project & Program Management: Ensure projects and initiatives are successfully delivered on time and within budget, while managing risks, quality, and resources.
• Post-Project Analysis: Conduct post-project analysis to capture lessons learned and enhance future project delivery.
• Management Tools & Reporting: Provide tools, methods, and formats for enterprise program and project reporting.

Job Requirements

• Education: Master’s degree in Business Management or a related discipline.
• Experience:
  • At least 12 years of professional experience, with a minimum of 6 years in a CEO position in a well-established national or multinational company.
  • Experience working in a holding or corporate business entity.
  • Proven track record in leading large-scale change management and corporate restructuring efforts.
  • Familiarity with business environments both in Ethiopia and internationally.
  • Strong background in project and program management.
  • Experience in a multinational company is highly preferred.
• Skills:
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and team management skills.
  • Ability to maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and willing to mentor and develop others.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Fluency in Amharic, English, and Afaan Oromo (both written and verbal) is required.
