Job Summary
The Corporate COO will oversee the execution of business strategies, manage daily operations, and work closely with the Group CEO. This role is essential for ensuring efficient operations and supporting the company’s long-term growth and expansion plans.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning: Design and implement effective business strategies, plans, and procedures to optimize company operations.
- Operations Oversight: Manage daily operations across multiple departments, ensuring alignment with the company’s goals and values.
- Operational Efficiency: Identify opportunities for automation, cost savings, and productivity enhancements, driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Expansion Activities: Support the CEO in business expansion efforts such as acquisitions, investments, and forming alliances.
- Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure that all operations comply with legal, regulatory, and industry standards. Develop risk management policies to protect company assets and reputation.
- Quality Management: Oversee and enhance the company’s quality control and internal management systems.
Job Requirements
- Education: Master’s degree in Business Management, Marketing Management, or a related field.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 12 years of experience in senior roles, with at least 6 years as a COO in a well-established national or multinational firm.
- Previous experience in a corporate or holding company environment is preferred.
- Strong proficiency in digital tools and systems.
- Experience in a multinational company is highly valued.
- Skills:
- Excellent communication, leadership, and team management skills.
- Ability to maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Fluency in both Amharic and English, with strong written and verbal skills.
