Key Duties & Responsibilities
Pre-emptive and pro-active legal counseling
- Builds strong, respectful relationships, based on integrity, with all designated stakeholders
- Provide legal advice to business leaders
- Identify potential areas involving legal risk and take proactive measures
- Manages interactions with 3rd party contractors, including Attorneys, to provide specialist advice and support, in particular as it relates to Court matters.
- Analyze and interpret Legal issues, identify core problems, and develop solution options;
- Represent the company in Judicial and quasi-judicial organs;
- Prepares statements of claims, defenses, petitions, appeals and other written memoranda concerning legal disputes;
Contract Management
- Collects, records and analyzes data necessary for the preparation of contracts, negotiations, pleadings and defenses;
- Draft and revise contractual agreements concerning the company;
Function Support
- Participate in disciplinary hearings and provide legal opinion
- Participate in the investigation and take appropriate legal actions to rectify theft, and other criminal offenses;
- Assist in managing the company’s regulatory affairs
Skills, Experience & Education
- First Degree in Law (LL.B) with a minimum of 3 years experience in corporate legal matters such as tax, company law, labor law and industrial relations with hands-on experience in court practices and representations
General
- Applicants must be Ethiopian citizens.
Position 2: Warehouse Unit Leader – Returnable Container
The primary role of the Warehouse Unit Leader-Returnable Container is managing the entire glass float at the plant, Depots, Customers and the market; Creating visibility to all stakeholders on glass holding, glass float and any activities that change the status
The Warehouse Unit Leader – Returnable Container will report directly to the Warehouse Manager.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop an effective Returnable Container Management strategy based on diagnosis, analysis, insight, expertise and official distributor principles.
- Develop plans to optimize the operation by aligning resources to activity levels and meeting customer service needs to improve the overall returnable container tracking performance.
- Management of New Glass injection and liaison with the Sales and Production team.
- To ensure the continuous modeling of operational performance to meet optimal customer service and cost objectives.
Skills, Experience & Education
- First Degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Accounting and Finance, Management, Business Management, or related fields.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant logistics experience
- Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience
- Knowledge of logistics operations in FMCG organizations
- Experience in logistics and business software systems(ERP)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
