The Role
You will be responsible for :
- Prepare monthly Management Accounts for the country entity.
- Report on treasury and banking activities for the country.
- Act as the Internal Control Custodian for the business.
- Provide business partnering skills to the Country Leadership team to further scale the business in Ethiopia
- Manage all statutory and compliance activities such as tax filings, returns, and audits for the entity.
- Provide data and interpersonal skills for peers and colleagues in the Group Finance function.
- Managing the full spectrum of financial accounting and reporting.
- Driving accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year-end closing.
- Overseeing monthly closing and managing monthly reporting & analysis.
- Consolidation of group entities.
- Ensuring compliance with all legislative tax and financial reporting requirements.
- Liaising with internal and external auditors.
- Managing banking relationships, cash management and other treasury related activities.
Ideal Profile
- You have at least 2 – 4 years experience within a Finance Manager role, ideally within the Health tech/Supply Chain/Logistics industry.
- You pay strong attention to detail and deliver work that is of a high standard
- You possess strong analytical skills and are comfortable dealing with numerical data
- You are a strong team player who can manage multiple stakeholders
