About Global Insurance Company (GIC)
Established in March 1997, Global Insurance Company (GIC) is a private insurance firm that has grown from an initial paid-up capital of Birr 3.75 million to a current capital base of Birr 150.6 million, with an authorized capital of Birr 250 million. As of June 2020, GIC has 176 shareholders, total assets exceeding Birr 413 million, and a staff of 224 employees. It provides general insurance services across 21 branches and one contact office in Addis Ababa and other regions. Additionally, GIC offers modern vehicle inspection services at its Kality recovery yard in Addis Ababa and in Harar.

1. HR and Facility Management Department Manager
- Educational Background: MA/BA in Management, Human Resources Management, or related fields
- Experience: 8/10 years of relevant experience, with at least 4 years in a supervisory position

2. Senior Accountant
- Educational Background: BA in Accounting & Finance
- Experience: 4 years, preferably in the insurance sector
- Skills Required:

3. Surveyor I
- Educational Background: MSc in Mechanical/Automotive Technology
- Experience: 1-2 years of relevant experience
- Skills Required:
- Computer proficiency

4. Branch Manager
- Educational Background: BA in Statistics, Mathematics, or Social Science fields
- Experience: 4 years as a Senior Underwriting Officer or 1 year as a Branch Manager

5. IT Division Manager
- Educational Background: BSc/MSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering, ICT, or related fields
- Experience: 6/4 years of relevant experience

- Core insurance system implementation experience (preferred)

6. Deputy Chief Executive Officer – Operations
- Educational Background: Minimum of a first degree from a recognized institution; a Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Insurance from the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) or Life Office Management Association (LOMA) is preferred
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years in the insurance sector, with at least 4 years in a managerial role within General Insurance Operations
