We are looking for a driven and experienced candidate with strong analytical and logical skills who can identify and interpret key data trends to formulate compelling brand plans. You will also need to analyze and communicate data clearly and concisely to help us make informed decisions. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills are essential, as you will be expected to work closely with partner organizations to advance key hygiene initiatives.

WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE
Drive Knorr brand & the jobs to be done.
- Craft a comprehensive annual Brand Marketing Plan based on Brand Audit (Brand Health check) and Brand Job to be done.
- Lead the Knorr brand marketing team, and agency contacts, and plan, by bringing the brand’s jobs to be done (JTBDs) to life through a coherent calendar of activities.
- Understand Knorr and the competition’s 6 Ps, driving specific actions when needed, and owning them with the wider team and creative agency.
- Deliver the brand’s business targets and deploy plans to achieve the set brand KPIs while considering consumer understanding, market dynamics, and resource constraints.
- Understand market dynamics across Ethiopia.
- Work with our below-the-line (BTL) agency to deliver exciting activations in the market to consumers.
- Manage processes, profit margins, and budgets, including the management of Knorr’s budget in terms of spending and cost allocation (e.g., agency cost, sampling cost, activation costs, and media investments).
- Work with key stakeholders to drive Knorr brand growth.
- Act as local project lead for innovation initiatives.
- Launch planning, implementation, and evaluation of the innovation mix, monitoring market performance, and driving actions to improve.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
Experiences & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree, Postgraduate/master’s in business field is preferred. Applicant from another field is also welcomed provided they prove they have relevant expertise & enthusiasm to learn.
- More than 5 years of experience in Marketing, Brand Management, or related fields
- Passionate about understanding consumers.
- Very strong analytical and reasoning capability.
- Strong in creative thinking for impact
- Execution master who can bring ideas to reality on the ground.
- Strong operational skills coupled with the ability to drive business & brand performance.
- Passionate about digital, wanting to learn something new.
