MEP Site Manager (MEP 004/2024)
Position Overview/Scope of role:
- The MEP Section Manager position is responsible to successfully plan, manage, execute, complete and handover multiple MEP projects related to energy efficiency, energy performance contracts and retrofits for large projects, high rise towers, and other commercial facilities.
- The key responsibilities include ensure timely completion of project within approved budgets on cost, resources without compromising on Quality & Safety using internal staff, as well as subcontractors and sub consultants.
- Delivery of high-quality, turn-key energy efficiency and renewable energy projects both in office, and on site
- The MEP Section Manager position is responsible to successfully plan, manage, execute, complete and handover multiple MEP projects related to energy efficiency, energy performance contracts and retrofits for large projects, high rise towers, and other commercial facilities.
- The key responsibilities include ensure timely completion of project within approved budgets on cost, resources without compromising on Quality & Safety using internal staff, as well as subcontractors and sub consultants.
Top Roles and Responsibilities:
- Will develop and administer the project budget and controls expenditure to ensure the budget profit is achieved.
- Will go through the project scope of work such as drawings, specification, Quality Plans, Contracts, project program.
- Will oversee all aspect of the day-to-day management of the project.
- Will instigate the project planning and review of progress against targets set.
- Will establish the project construction methodology with the project team.
- Will control the value Consulting, design, sub-contractor and material selection
- Organize and manage the personnel apparatus of the Construction Commanding Committee to oversee and operate the MEP section of the company’s construction projects.
- Assign appropriate tasks to subcontractors and teams to achieve the goals set by the Board of Directors. Develop and implement construction methods, schedules, and labor safety measures for the entire MEP construction project.
- Take responsibility for the acceptance, handover, payment, and settlement of works.
- Participate in planning necessary human resources, developing resource supply plans, and overseeing training and evaluation of personnel under their authority.
- Coordinate with related departments to mobilize resources to ensure that the project is completed on schedule and propose a plan to adjust personnel according to each project phase.
- Work with other construction managers throughout the project implementation process to ensure successful completion of the project.
About You
- B.Sc. in Mechanical, Water supply and irrigation, Electrical Engineering or related fields
- Work Experience – Minimum 6 years, 2 years and above in in Construction/MEP Coordination
