Job Summery
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the overall implementation of the humanitarian project, ensuring that all activities are delivered on time and within budget.
- Coordinate with local partners, government agencies, and communities to achieve project results and ensure effective service delivery.
- Monitor and evaluate project progress and outcomes, preparing reports and updates for donors and stakeholders.
- Manage the project team, providing leadership and guidance in achieving project objectives.
- Ensure compliance with donor guidelines and JeCCDO’s policies, especially in areas related to protection, gender equality, and conflict sensitivity.
- Liaise with local and international humanitarian Actors to align project activities and maximize impact.
Job Requirement
- Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Development Studies, Social Sciences, or a related field. A Master’s Degree is preferred
- Experience:

- At least 5 years of experience in managing humanitarian projects, particularly in conflict-affected or post-conflict environments.
- Strong project management skills, including budgeting, reporting, and team management.
- Experience working with displaced populations and vulnerable groups, especially in the areas of protection and food security.
- Familiarity with Donor-funded projects, especially those funded by international donors such as the Federal Foreign Office.
- Fluency in English and Amharic. Knowledge of other local languages is an advantage.
Duty station: Addis Ababa, with travel to project sites in Amhara, Afar, and Tigray regions
Condition of employment-: One year contract with possibility of extension based on performances and continuity of the project.
