Job Description:
International Development Enterprises (iDE)
is an international NGO dedicated to creating income and livelihood opportunities for poor rural households of Ethiopia through various projects implemented in different parts of the country. We are seeking to recruit qualified and experienced personnel for the position specified hereunder. iDE has recently received funding from Latter Day Saints Church ( LDSC) that aims at addressing the root causes of malnutrition by focusing on multiple channels of impact on diet, including the first thousand days of life, supporting resilient food supply chains, improving agricultural development of more nutritious product, creating access to healthy foods, and providing education to women of child bearing age to ensure proper dietary diversity for healthy growth before, during and after pregnancy. The LDSC Nutrition work will be implemented across all iDE projects (WASH, RIPA, HTTG, and CARD II).

Key responsibilities:
The Senior MERL Officer is responsible for two key areas: coordination of iDE’s monitoring and evaluation activities and organizing data of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). That is, he/she will:(1) lead the development and implementation of iDE wide M&E systems and tools; (2) design evaluation plans and implement monitoring and evaluation activities of project progress and impacts; (4) produce inputs for publicity and educational materials; and (5) Collect monthly key performance indicators (KPI) reports from projects, and submit quarter report to Head of Evidence and Analytics.
Duty Station : Addis Ababa, with extensive travel to rural areas
Job Requirements:
Qualifications & Skills:
BSc/BA in Agricultural Economics, Economics, or related fields with minimum of 5 years of experience directly related to M&E/Impact Assessment of development projects and/or agricultural research
Excellent command of written and spoken English.
Strong analytical and writing skills.
Team player.
Proficiency in Microsoft word, excel, and statistical software, particularly SPSS, STATA.
NGO experience is of a great advantage.
