ZamZam Bank S.C, Ethiopia’s first full-fledged Interest-Free Bank, is dedicated to expanding financial inclusion and providing shari’ah-compliant financial services across the nation. As the bank works towards its vision of becoming Africa’s leading shari’ah-compliant bank by 2030, it is seeking qualified candidates for the following positions:

Position 1: Risk Management Officer

• Qualifications & Experience:
  • BA Degree in Economics, Management, Accounting, or other business-related fields.
  • Minimum of 4 years of banking experience, with 2 years as a Junior Risk Management Officer.
  • Knowledge of Interest-Free Banking (IFB) is advantageous.
• Location: Head Office, Addis Ababa

Position 2: Senior Risk Management Officer

• Qualifications & Experience:
  • Master’s or BA Degree in Economics, Management, Accounting, or other business-related fields.
  • 3 years of banking experience with a Master’s or 5 years with a BA Degree, with at least 2 years as a Risk Management Officer.
  • Knowledge of IFB is advantageous.
• Location: Addis Ababa

Position 3: Senior Branch Coordination Officer

• Qualifications & Experience:
  • Master’s or BA Degree in Economics, Management, Accounting, or other business-related fields.
  • 3 years of experience with a Master’s or 5 years with a BA Degree, with 2 years as a Senior Officer in branch banking.
• Core Competencies:
  • Effective communication, coordination, and facilitation.
  • Coaching, mentoring, and problem-solving skills.
  • Internal control and core banking applications.
  • Knowledge of IFB is advantageous.
• Location: Dessie

Position 4: Branch Manager

• Qualifications & Experience:
  • BA Degree in Economics, Management, Accounting, or other business-related fields.
  • 5 years of banking experience, with 2 years as a Senior Officer/Customer Service Manager or equivalent in branch banking.
• Core Competencies:
  • Branch management, team building, time management.
  • Problem-solving, coaching, internal control.
  • Sales, marketing, and negotiation skills.
  • Knowledge of core banking applications and IFB is advantageous.
• Location: Mekelle
