Job Summary:
The Grants, Contracts, and Budget Section oversee various Units and projects, managing the CO budget across different Units such as SRH, WASH, Livelihood for Resilience, Strengthening PSNP4 Institution for Resilience/SPIR, Pastoral, Emergency, and Urban projects. The unit aims to bring positive change to communities through different projects and address their specific challenges.
Internship Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Senior Award Specialist to tailor to diverse donor requirements.
- Participate in the preparation of Grant files, Donor agreements, budgets, Award and PID setup, financial reports, audit reports, and related project documents.
- Assist in the VAT claim report for donors like USAID, EU, and ADA.
- Contribute to budget revision preparations.
- Aid in preparing management and donor financial reports.
- Assist in compiling cash forecasts/requests for the Account Payable section.
- Help compile New Business Developments with the Senior Award Specialist.
- Contribute to updating the Support Program Cost budget.
- Assist in compiling PAR allocation of staff (PQL, PSS).
- Aid in preparing adjustments and entering/uploading journals into PeopleSoft.
- Assist in providing documents for Project Audits.
- Support the unit in the documentation of various projects.
- Perform any other tasks as requested by the supervisor.
Responsibilities and Tasks:
- Organize Grant documents and file them under the assigned Award No.
- Prepare VAT claims for USAID.
- Facilitate counter signatures for agreements, agreement checklists, and other essential documents.
- Assist in printing and scanning documents.
- Prepare and submit reports for meetings, training, supervision, monitoring, and workshops.
- Organize monthly Award unit meetings.

Qualifications:
A) Education:
Required: BSc in Accounting, Business Administration, Management, or related fields. Ability to work in stressful situations, multitask, excellent writing skills, team player, and problem solver.
B) Work Experience: 0-1 Year Maximum
C) Technical Skills:
Required:
- Proficiency in written and verbal Amharic, English, and language skills.
- Good computer skills (MS Word, Excel).
- Firm belief in gender equality and sensitivity to vulnerable groups.
- Team player with flexibility and ability to work in a multicultural setting.
- Quick learning ability, effective communication, and strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines.
D) Competencies:

E) Level of Travel Required:
This internship position is located in Addis Ababa.
