An exciting vacant position has arisen at East Africa Bottling Share Company – Ethiopia for the role of maintenance planner. East Africa Bottling Share Company ( EABSC) works with the world’s most cherished trademark; invests in the most sophisticated production system in the world and employs people who are prepared to work with passion and focus. The position is structured to report to the respective Unit Manager – Utilities and Process and will be responsible for managing the relevant maintenance systems, generating routine and planned maintenance schedules, supporting the maintenance team in the execution of maintenance, and facilitating problem-solving so that line availability and efficiency are maximized, breakdowns are minimized, and manufacturing costs are kept to a minimum.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- To provide technical leadership and support to the plant in terms of asset management technology to enable the implementation of business strategies to leverage equipment, productivity, reliability, and maintainability, thereby enabling high plant availability and utilization at the lowest cost.
- Deploy the asset management strategy.
- Provide specialist asset management support.
- Ensure that predictive maintenance techniques are implemented correctly.
- Implement asset management system audits to evaluate data integrity.
- Assist and coach staff in asset management principles and application.
- Observe a safe, healthy, and risk-free working environment.
Skills, Experience & Education
- First Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Industrial Engineering or related field of studies with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.
